The second race of the Nutcracker Series had 8 boats come to the start. The course was set No. 15, Cliff, Canewdon, Cliff, Canewdon, Black Point, No 13, No 3, No 15, Cliff Reach, No 13 and No 7. After a very wet start the sun came out and the wind blew. It was a marvelous sight as the majority of boats managed to set spinnakers coming down the river when passing the Club on both occasions. In Class One the winner was The Geek owned by Ian Langston and Partners followed by Inn Spirit (Alan Bartlett) and Assarain IV (Angus Bates). In Class Two the winner was Double Trouble owned by Duncan & Beccy Haley followed by Quencher (Roger Noble) and Mantra (Phillip & Sally Harbott). Overall the winner was The Geek followed by Inn Spirit and Double Trouble.
